The Heart Behind Wholehearted Living

Hi, I'm Laura Beth.

For much of my life, I believed being a good person meant putting everyone else first. I spent years caring for others—as a pharmacist, a wife, a mother, a special needs parent, and an advocate—while often ignoring my own needs in the process.

Like many women, I carried invisible burdens. Childhood trauma, chronic health challenges, caregiving responsibilities, and the pressure to keep everything together taught me how to survive. But they also taught me something even more important: surviving isn't the same as living wholeheartedly.

Wholehearted Living grew out of my own journey toward healing, self-advocacy, simplicity, and intentional living. It isn't about perfection, having all the answers, or adding more to an already full life. It's about creating space for what matters most—peace, purpose, joy, connection, and the courage to show up as your authentic self.

Professionally, I bring more than 20 years of experience as a pharmacist and healthcare advocate. Personally, I bring the perspective of a trauma survivor, a special needs mom, a writer, and a woman who understands what it feels like to rebuild a life one small step at a time.

My hope is that through these resources, stories, and conversations, you'll find encouragement, practical support, and a reminder that you don't have to carry everything alone.

Wholehearted Living is about advocating for peace, purpose, and joy—even in the middle of real life.

I'm glad you're here.
